Humanfly, the local band

The Humanfly is a British local band whose mainstream music is between the post-metal and psychedelic post-rock. The members consist of Johnnie Sutcliffe, Andy Sutcliffe, Mat Dale, and Dave Jones. The lead vocalist Johnnie Sutcliffe was a former member of the band Canvas and Autumn Year, Mat Dale, the base guitarist was in the J.R and Seeds of Tragedy, David Jones with the drums is still in the Birds Of Prey and Andy Sutcliffe, with the guitar, was also in the Canvas like his brother. They started the Humanfly band from 2001 and have their based in Hyde Park.

The bands came into being after the two brothers split up from the band Canvas. The two brothers Johnnie Sutcliffe and Andy Sutcliffe decided to begin a progressive band unlike the former one. The new band is a hard core music between the post metal and psychedelic post rock. The Humanfly offers six vast, metallic, epic journeys through huge heavy NeurIsis style and Pink Floyd to Mogwai kind.

Though this band is not well known in the outer world of their native place but, they have started touching success in the post rock metal music genre after they released II by 20 Buck Spin.
